Today we celebrated our last day in the
states and Lauren's first birthday (a couple weeks early) at Balboa
Park in San Diego. It was a day filled with fun, great friends,
family and hard goodbyes. We have learned that
painful good-byes are good because it means that you have loved well.
I am happy to say that we have loved well and thus our hearts are
hurting.

Next stop for us is Thailand! We start our journey tomorrow afternoon. We will update you again after we have settled in to the guesthouse we will be calling home.
